Zipit Forest Adventures has opened a new zipline course named Zip Trail, in Coillte’s Tibradden Wood, located in the Dublin Mountains.

The investment for this new development was over €200,000. Zip Trail consists of 18 treetop elements, including 12 ziplines with a total length of over 500 metres.

This immersive activity is suitable for anyone aged 12 or older and can be booked as an add-on for just €10 per person when purchasing a session on the high ropes course. Cool Running Events Ltd, an Irish company specializing in recreational experiences, owns and manages Zipit Forest Adventures, with courses in Tibradden Wood, Cork and Roscommon.

The ziplining experience is growing worldwide and is a relatively non-intrusive way to allow people to enjoy Ireland's forests and mountains. Outdoor recreation activities like Zipit Forest Adventures improve the visitor experience, support rural tourism and develop Ireland's unique forest amenities as well as training and employing local staff.
