We are delighted to announce that the Ski Club of Ireland will be opening the next 2021/2022 ski season TWO MONTHS earlier than usual this July. Practice will be available on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm for all club members only.
Whether you're an experienced skier or a budding enthusiast, we welcome everyone to join in the fun and develop their slope skills at The Ski Club of Ireland in Kilternan.
The experienced ski instructors offer all the equipment you might need and a wide range of individual or group lessons and bookings.
The theme for Summer 2021 is 'Outdoor Activity' and with the weather getting better we are all being encouraged to get out there and embrace nature again. With this in mind, Heather Burnett Niland is announcing the re-launch of Forest Kids Summer Outdoor courses for children aged 6 – 12 years old.
Primarily based in Glencullen Adventure Park in the heart of the Dublin Mountains, Forest Kids offer safe, fun and educational outdoor adventures for children, placing a strong emphasis on appreciation of nature.
Action-packed or leisurely-paced, the Dublin mountains do both – and everything in between. All you have to do is choose! One thing is for certain, you’ll receive a warm welcome in every village and on every trail, and leave with great memories that last a lifetime. It all starts just 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre. This summer, Dún Laoghaire’s streets and laneways will be brightened by a host of artworks which will be presented as part of the Dún Laoghaire Anseo street art project.
Local artists were given the chance to express their interest in this project earlier this year and Dún Laoghaire - Rathdown County Council are currently working to match selected artists with the chosen sites in the town.
It is anticipated that Dún Laoghaire Anseo will be completed by the end of June, and we will post updates on our social media accounts.

The Cycle Hub accumulates over 30 years experience in the cycling industry. From getting a puncture fixed to bringing life back to an old bike and everything in-between, you can enjoy a barista coffee and snack while you wait for your bike to be serviced. The Cycle Hub have a team of excellent, experienced mechanics here to help.
The Cycling Hub also have both touring and road bikes available for rental from our Dun Laoghaire base. A great opportunity to visit the area and cycle the wonderful nearby routes.
