Literary Celebrations: Dalkey Book Festival

12TH-15TH JUNE

A festival that has been celebrating literary talent and hosting some of the world's leading writers and thinkers since 2010.  

This year’s stellar line-up includes psychologist Steven Pinker, author of The Better Angels of Our Nature; novelist and journalist Lionel Shriver, author of We Need to Talk About Kevin; acclaimed film director and fiction writer Neil Jordan; ornithologist and wildlife sound recordist Seán Ronayne, who aims to record the songs of every bird species in Ireland; and American financial journalist Michael Lewis, author of the bestselling nonfiction books Moneyball and The Big Short.
