The Tourism Development section at Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has created a new brochure for Transition Year coordinators around the county. The brochure shows the wealth of exciting and engaging experiences on offer for their TY students here in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council announced the launch of a new tourism strategy designed to elevate the County into a premier tourist destination by 2028. Among the actions planned are developing new walking and cycling trails, enhancing beachfront facilities and promoting water-based activities.
Summer of Heritage is running until the end of August with almost 30 free events you can choose from each week. There are free self guided tours of National Maritime Museum, Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre, James Joyce Tower, Quaker Burial Ground Temple Hill, Deansgrange Cemetry, All Saints' Church, Dun Laoghaire Street Art Walk and much more! ighlights.
Seaside Discovery is a free hop on/hop off daily service with stops at Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Royal Marine Hotel, George’s Street, Dun Laoghaire Baths, James Joyce Tower, Opposite Caviston’s Glasthule, Opposite Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre and McKenna’s.
